Although sexual harassment training is required by California law (AB1825), sexual harassment suits are only a fraction of the harassment lawsuits filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).  According to the EEOC, approximately 52% of individual charges in 2007 were discrimination suits based on Race, National Origin, and Religion.  Organizations benefit from the protection diversity training can offer.  Providing diversity training affords you with an affirmative defense in the event an employee files a discrimination suit.
