Why-Provide-Sexual-Harassment-Training
If an employee files a claim of sexual harassment you may be requested to provide proof of full compliance with AB 1825 requirements. Failure to train in accordance with this law could provide a basis for punitive damages. The Department of Fair Employment & Housing (DFEH) may request verification of sexual harassment training. The verification should include the number of employed supervisors, the dates training was provided, the name of the trainer, and copies of the training material. Root Communication will provide a certificate of completion in sexual harassment training for each employee, including the date and the length of the training. We will also leave a copy of all training material with the organization.
